Welcome to Four Directions Autism's services page!
At Four Directions Autism, our mission is to support and empower individuals and families within the Indigenous community affected by autism spectrum disorder. We offer services to enhance the well-being and quality of life of individuals with autism and their families.
Four Directions Autism has dedicated professionals, including speech-language pathologists, ABA instructors, respite workers, and personal support workers, who can provide services directly funded through Jordan's Principle.
At Four Directions Autism, we understand the financial constraints many Indigenous families face. To ensure timely support and alleviate the burden of out-of-pocket expenses or lengthy reimbursement processes, we directly hire and pay the professionals who provide services to Indigenous families in need. This approach enables us to offer immediate assistance and removes financial barriers to accessing vital support for individuals with autism and their families.
We offer a range of services to improve the quality of life for Indigenous children with special needs, developmental disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Here are some of our services:
Application Assistance: We offer accurate application assistance to NIHB and Jordan’s Principle services to ensure equal access to health and medical services.
Information and Referrals: We provide information and referrals to connect Indigenous households with direct billing providers for services and equipment.
Competency Training and Consultations: We offer competency training and consultations to organizations, not-for-profits, NGOs, charities, social enterprises, governments, and academic researchers, with a standard rate for our services.
Research and Partnership Opportunities: We are available for research and partnership opportunities, including qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method analysis, Indigenous Program Design, Indigenous Program Evaluation, jurisdictional scans, and Indigenous Case Analysis.
Participant Studies: Our studies can include up to 500 participants, and we ensure confidentiality and privacy for all participants.
Community Outreach: We offer community outreach services to provide education and resources to Indigenous communities on special needs, developmental disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder.
Advocacy: We advocate for the rights and needs of Indigenous children with special needs, developmental disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder by working with government officials, policymakers, and service providers.
At Four Directions Autism, we are committed to making a difference in Indigenous children's and their families' lives.
